Akash Banerjee is a Political Satirist and a Social Media Entrepreneur.

His webseries - #TheDeshBhakt has over a half a million followers on social media platforms. These saritical videos touch on a wide gamut of topics, including Indian politics, society, education and fake news busting and have a monthly reach of well over 25 million views.

Akash also is the founder of #SocialBakBak - a Boutique Social Care consultancy, specializing in personal / institutional brand building & content curation. He also hosts a Fake News busting show for the Times of India Online portal - called Fake Bole Kauwa Kaate!

Before he embarked on his digital journey last year, Akash spent a decade and a half in the world of media, as a reporter, anchor, author and most recently as Vice President at Radio Mirchi.

With his schooling from La Martiniere College (Lucknow) Akash completed his Masters from St. Stephens College.
